Department of Film and video editing :
The Film & Video Editing courses, students' master the technical and creative challenges of the editing process, from daily rushes to the final cut and sound mix, working through progressively more difficult non-linear editing, systems. As they advance from final cut pro HD to AVID HD, they simultaneously develop their skills in aesthetic structure and style. Beyond the formal mechanics of editing students master the artistic strategies necessary to transform unsequence raw footage into emotionally powerful and meaningful stories. The main aim of the three years full time Diploma in Film and Video Editing is to educate editors who will have adequate knowledge and experiences to be able to work in the field of editing feature films, documentaries and all other areas of visual communication.
